Why is it that the skinniest guys in the gym always think they're the experts?
I mean, just because you read every muscle magazine on the rack, it doesn't change the fact that your bench has been stuck at 185 since the '80s.
Here's the true story of how one of my guys solved that...
"Hi Oliver.
I bought your software last december and have been using it with great success.
I only have one problem now.
First due to my location, I worked out in a gym with machines. I told the owners that I only wanted to train once every 5 days.
After a while they were asking me why I only train 10-15 minutes every 5 days (most of the time). I didn't want to tell them because the so called "fitness people" think they know it all and I didn't want to get into a heavy discussion with them.
I just said : "why should I workout more often ?" He said : "to get better results, this it not enough to gain strength or muscle!" Imagine if I had told him that I only work each musclegroup every 2 weeks (roughly), he would have screamed ! I told him about your system and he just laughed.
So I just took a look at his body.. hmmm skinny, very skinny so who is he to tell me?
He was starting to get on my nerves so I finally told him that I had gained in nine months :
+45kg on my bench press (my former weakness) I had reached a plateau for years
+50 kg on shoulder press (also a weakness)
+120 kg on my leg press
+50kg on bicep curls
+67,5kg on tricep pushdown
+50 kg on pulldown
and I tripled my strength on leg extension etc.
He said :"that's impossible ! you are full of [curse word deleted], if that's true you must have been using gear!
He was convinced that I must have been using a lot of 'juice' before in my life and that it was only muscle memory that I had been able to gain such a size in 9 months. I have not of course ever done a steroid cycle in my life.
By the way I'm shifting to a new gym now.
I'm putting the pin at the bottom of the rack on most machines.
My bodyfat is down to 6% and muscletone is still improving. My goal is to gain another 10kg pure muscle mass by next april. I'm convinced I will.
Thanks alot,
Vince"
No, thank you Vince. Thanks for silencing the critics.
What about the rest of you? Got a know-it-all in your gym that you'd love to tell off?
What better way than to start getting massive results and have him come to you begging for your secrets.
